For hunting purposes, the T217 can use camera filters to produce red or green light, aiding in stealth and tracking. The body is constructed from aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum with a Type III hard-anodized finish, rated IP68 waterproof (2 m) and able to survive drops from 1.5 m.
