The 72mm wide tape combines a hot melt synthetic rubber adhesive with a tough polypropylene film backing to resist abrasion, moisture, and scuffing throughout the entire shipping journey from dock to destination. With an elongation at break of 160% and tensile strength of 30 lb/in, this tape maintains high performance even when exposed to rough handling and bumpy transport. The hot melt adhesive penetrates the shorter fibers of highly recycled corrugate to help reduce tape failure concerns that might lead to rework, theft, and open package returns.
