The tape features a rubber resin backing that offers optimized adherence and excellent performance with most solid dielectric cable insulations and conductors.
This highly conformable tape retains its conductivity with stretch, allowing it to elongate easily to conform to irregular shapes and help minimize electrical stresses. It is compatible with high-voltage splicing and terminating materials and withstands temperatures up to 194°F (90°C). The tape is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, with excellent resistance to cracking from solvents, UV exposure, and moisture. With an elongation at break of 800% and tensile strength of 200 psi, this semi-conducting tape delivers dependable performance in demanding electrical environments.
