Scotch® Continuous Taping System Tape 3782 is a medium performance packaging tape engineered for medium-duty applications on a wide range of materials including recycled fiberboard and corrugate. This 2.2 mil (56 micron) polypropylene film backing with synthetic rubber adhesive delivers exceptional reliability even under the stresses of over or under packed boxes. The tape features biaxially oriented polypropylene film with pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive that adheres instantly and consistently to most surfaces, making it ideal for automated carton sealing operations.
The tape offers superior edge tear and split resistance, making it particularly suitable for palletized and unitized loads. Its easy unwind and smooth dispensing characteristics work exceptionally well on high-speed automated packaging lines and 3M-Matic™ Case Sealers. The backing easily conforms around edges and rough surfaces for a tight seal while resisting abrasion, moisture, chemicals and scuffing for long-lasting performance. This medium performance sealing tape is specifically designed to securely close regular slotted containers (RSC) and packages used for moving, shipping and distribution.
With excellent adhesion to recycled liner paper and fiberboard, this tape meets FDA guidelines for indirect food contact.
