Designed for demanding packaging applications, Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 355 combines a thick biaxially oriented polyester backing with superior adhesive technology to deliver high adhesion, tensile strength and elongation at break. The tape withstands score line breaking and center seam splitting, making it ideal for heavy-weight packages and overseas/export packing and shipping. With a tensile strength of 67 lb/in and 130% elongation at break, this tape provides the best combination of performance traits in the Scotch polyester line.
This tape is water-resistant per ASTM D5570 and complies with environmental considerations of ASTM D1974-92, meeting CID A-A-1684B and ASTM D5486 Type III standards. Each case contains 4 rolls of 36mm width tape with 914 meters length per roll, providing excellent value for high-volume packaging operations.
