The RUPES Wash and Decontamination Mitt is a dual-purpose car care accessory designed to combine washing and surface decontamination in one practical tool. One side uses plush synthetic microfiber to remove everyday grime, road film and dirt, while the opposite synthetic clay side targets stubborn bonded contamination that normal washing cannot remove.
The microfiber side is intended for regular washing with RUPES M101, M707 or an equivalent automotive shampoo. Its soft synthetic fibers help release surface dirt safely while reducing the risk of scratching or dulling the finish.
After rinsing loose dirt from the vehicle, the synthetic clay side can be used for deeper decontamination. RUPES recommends lubricating the surface first with a suitable spray or a clean soap-and-water mixture, then gently working the mitt across the surface until embedded contaminants are removed and the finish feels smooth.
By combining two cleaning functions in one mitt, 9.CLAYMITT helps save time and effort while preparing the surface for paint correction or the application of waxes, sealants and other protection products.
