The RUPES 981.710 PrecisionPro Backing Pad is engineered specifically for the BigFoot HLR21 iBRID random orbital polisher. With a diameter of 150 mm, it provides a precise and stable foundation for compatible polishing pads during professional paint correction, refinement and finishing applications.
Unlike conventional backing pads, the PrecisionPro design is manufactured without polyurethane. This lowers the center of gravity, improving stability during operation and giving the user greater control and precision while polishing.
A protective rubber border surrounds the backing pad to add surface protection and promote a smoother glide during polishing. This is especially useful when working around curved panels, edges and complex vehicle contours where accurate machine control is important.
The PrecisionPro design also provides improved balancing with different polishing pads, allowing users to switch between compatible pad types without compromising machine stability or polishing quality. RUPES officially specifies model 981.710 as the 150 mm version for the HLR21 iBRID.
