The RUPES 9.WF180H Waffle Coarse Foam Polishing Pad is the most aggressive option in the RUPES Rotary Waffle Pad range. Its coarse blue foam provides powerful cutting performance for removing severe paint defects, oxidation and sanding marks from painted automotive surfaces.
The specially designed waffle surface improves rotational stability during machine polishing and helps reduce heat generated by rotary movement. Because the textured face does not remain in full contact with the surface, the pad operates at a cooler temperature than conventional flat pads, reducing the risk of overheating the paint.
The waffle profile also creates a smoother and more comfortable polishing experience, helping the operator maintain better control while working on large panels, curved sections and complex vehicle contours.
Model 9.WF180H is designed for a 150 mm backing plate and has a working diameter of 150 to 165 mm. It is suitable for the RUPES BigFoot LH19E and other rotary polishing machines. For maximum defect-removal performance, RUPES recommends pairing the pad with its Rotary Coarse Compound.
