The RUPES 9.DA180H D-A Coarse Cutting Foam Pad is a high-performance polishing pad developed to remove mild to severe defects from most automotive paint systems. Its aggressive cutting action makes it ideal for correcting scratches, oxidation, sanding marks and other visible paint imperfections.
The pad features a newly developed open-cell foam material engineered for both random orbital and gear-driven dual action polishers. This structure delivers strong cutting performance while maintaining improved finishing ability during demanding paint correction work.
RUPES developed this pad by combining the best characteristics of its previous blue and green foam formulations. The result is improved durability, enhanced cutting performance and a more vibrant blue colour for easy identification during multi-stage polishing.
Model 9.DA180H has a 150 mm backing surface, a maximum pad diameter of 180 mm and a height of 25 mm. RUPES specifies it for use with all dual action polishers and recommends pairing it with D-A Coarse High Performance Cut Polishing Compound for improved cutting and finishing performance.
