The RUPES 9.DA180B D-A Intermediate Foam Polishing Pad is the most versatile foam pad in the RUPES BigFoot range. Positioned between the blue D-A Coarse pad and the yellow D-A Fine pad, it provides a balanced combination of cutting performance, surface refinement and finishing ability.
Its specially engineered foam formula works with several RUPES polishing compounds, allowing detailers to adjust its performance according to the required correction stage. When paired with RUPES D-A Coarse compound, the pad provides enough polishing power to remove severe defects from a wide range of painted and solid surfaces.
When used with RUPES D-A Fine polishing compound, the 9.DA180B removes moderate to fine imperfections while creating a smooth, high-gloss finish. It can also be paired with UNO Protect or UNO Advanced for final polishing and the application of a durable protective layer.
The pad features a 160 mm backing surface and a maximum diameter of 180 mm. It is designed for all dual action polishing machines, including random orbital and gear-driven polishers, making it suitable for correcting and finishing large automotive panels efficiently.
