The pad features a consistent 15 mm wool fiber length across its entire working surface. This soft and flexible wool structure provides effective defect correction while helping maintain a refined finish, making the 9.BW40M a balanced choice between cutting performance and surface finishing.
Its flexible yellow foam interface improves control when polishing curves, contours and complex vehicle surfaces. The softer backing also provides more forgiving support during polishing, helping the operator achieve consistent results in areas that can be difficult to access with larger or more rigid pads.
The RUPES 9.BW40M has a 30 mm backing diameter and a maximum pad diameter of 45 mm. RUPES specifies this compact pad for use with HR81M and HR81ML polishers. The manufacturer currently lists the 9.BW Series M as discontinued.
