Specially developed for rotary polishing machines, the pad features an open-cell foam structure that helps reduce excessive heat generated during polishing. This construction also improves rotational stability, allowing the pad to maintain consistent contact and performance across painted surfaces.
The optimized pad profile helps reduce accidental contact between the backing plate and the working surface. This provides additional protection when polishing curved panels, edges and complex vehicle body contours.
With a diameter of 130/135 mm, the RUPES 9.BR150H is designed for use with a 125 mm rotary backing pad. For optimal cutting performance, RUPES recommends pairing it with a suitable coarse rotary polishing compound.
