The RUPES 9.BF170FM Fine Microfiber Polishing Pad is designed to increase defect removal while maintaining excellent finishing quality when used with random orbital polishers. It is ideal for restoring depth, clarity and gloss to automotive paintwork while correcting light surface imperfections.
Its high-density microfiber surface is especially effective for removing light swirl marks, holograms and minor paint defects. The fine microfiber construction helps refine the surface to an optical-grade finish, making it suitable for professional detailing and paint correction where both correction and finishing quality are important.
The unique microfiber material is engineered to provide effective cutting performance even on harder paint systems. A one-piece molded construction gives the pad the strength required to work with the large-diameter orbital movement generated by RUPES polishing machines.
Patented spiral slots are positioned to align with the ventilation holes in compatible backing plates, helping reduce heat buildup on the polishing surface. The 9.BF170FM has a nominal 150 mm backing and pad diameter and is specified for use with the RUPES LHR21 random orbital polisher. RUPES recommends pairing it with BigFoot D-A Fine Polishing Compound.
