The Legrand TX3 MCB 404249 is a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker designed to protect wiring installations against overloads and short circuits. The breaker provides IP20 "fingerproof" safety protection, ensuring protection against solid bodies larger than 12.5mm, making it ideal for residential and small commercial panel applications.
This circuit breaker complies with IEC 60898-1 standard for household installations and offers maximum energy limitation with class 3 current limiting capability. The device can be supplied by copper cable, prong busbar (top or bottom side), or fork busbar (bottom side), providing flexible installation options. With a built-in depth of 44mm and occupying 4 modular spaces, it fits seamlessly into standard DIN rail installations. The TX3 breaker is equipped with a special DIN rail clamp on the bottom side, allowing independent removal even when the fork busbar is still in place.
