The Legrand DX3 MCB 1P 10A Curve D is a thermal magnetic circuit-breaker designed to protect wiring installations against overloads and short-circuits. With a breaking capacity of 6kA according to IEC 60898-1 standard for household installations and 10kA breaking capacity at 230V according to IEC 60947-2, this device provides robust protection for residential and small commercial applications. The D curve ensures rapid tripping during short-circuit conditions, with a tripping threshold between 100A and 140A (D curve between 10 In and 14 In), making it ideal for circuits with high inrush currents.
This single-pole modular circuit breaker features IP20 protection rating (fingerproof against solid bodies larger than 12.5mm) and is designed for DIN-rail mounting in modular panels. It can be supplied by copper cable, prong busbar (top or bottom side), fork busbar (bottom side), or Legrand HX3 plug busbar (top side). The device is equipped with two DIN rail clamps for independent removal without affecting the prong busbar supply. It supports a wide range of connectable conductor cross-sections: 1.5-25mm² for multi-wired conductors and 1.5-35mm² for solid-core conductors.
The MCB DX3 is halogen-free and complies with substance-restriction requirements, having been designed in an environmentally conscious process. It can be equipped with Legrand DX3 auxiliaries, RCD add-on modules, and various accessories to expand its functionality. The device features a label holder for clear circuit identification and ON/OFF indication on the handle with red and green backgrounds for easy status identification. Operating temperature range is -25°C to +70°C, with storage temperature capability from -40°C to +70°C.
