The Legrand DX3 MCB is a single-pole modular thermal-magnetic circuit breaker designed for control, protection, and isolation of electrical circuits. With a 25kA breaking capacity at 230/400V AC, this device features C curve tripping characteristics ideal for general purpose applications. The breaker is equipped with IP20 finger-safe terminals and DIN rail mounting capability, making it suitable for residential and small commercial installations. The tripping threshold in case of short-circuit ranges between 100A and 200A (C curve between 5 In and 10 In), providing reliable protection against overcurrent conditions.
This circuit breaker can be supplied either by copper cable, prong busbar (top or bottom side), fork busbar (bottom side), or Legrand HX3 plug busbar (top side). The device features visible breaking for easy status identification with ON/OFF indication printed on the handle with red and green backgrounds respectively. It is equipped with two DIN rail clamps allowing independent removal when the prong busbar is still in place. The MCB includes a label holder for clear circuit identification and can be equipped with Legrand DX3 auxiliaries, RCD add-on modules, and various accessories.
The product complies with IEC 60947-2 standards and meets substance-restriction requirements with an environmentally conscious design.
