The Knipex ErgoStrip 16 95 02 SB is a universal stripping and dismantling tool specifically designed for left handed users. It combines several cable preparation functions in one compact tool, making it suitable for electricians, installers and technicians working with installation, data and coaxial cables.
Its ergonomic pistol grip design allows fast cutting, dismantling and longitudinal stripping of cable sheaths. The slim conical tool ends improve access in confined spaces, while locating ridges make it easier to guide individual conductors into the correct stripping openings.
The ErgoStrip handles round installation cables from 8 to 13 mm in diameter, coaxial cables from 4.8 to 7.5 mm and CAT 5 to CAT 7 twisted pair data cables. It also strips individual conductors and strands in 0.2, 0.3, 0.8, 1.5, 2.5 and 4 mm² sizes.
A concealed cable stripping knife allows convenient longitudinal cutting of outer cable sheaths. The opening spring and locking device make the tool easy to operate and store, while the multi component grip with soft plastic zones provides a secure and comfortable hold during repeated work.
The housing is made from durable glass fibre reinforced plastic, keeping the tool lightweight while providing the durability required for professional use. The 16 95 02 SB measures 135 mm in length and is manufactured in Germany.
