The Hisense 85U8N is an 85 inch Mini LED ULED 4K Google TV built for premium home entertainment on a very large screen. Mini LED Pro Plus backlighting works with Full Array Local Dimming Pro and more than 2000 local dimming zones to improve black levels, highlight control and overall contrast, while peak brightness reaches up to 3000 nits.
QLED Quantum Dot technology expands the colour range to more than a billion shades, helping movies, sports and streaming content look more vivid and detailed. The display also uses a native 144Hz panel for smoother motion, while Anti Glare Low Reflection technology helps reduce distracting reflections in bright rooms.
The Hi View Engine PRO uses AI based picture processing to optimize colour, contrast and fine detail. Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10 Plus, HLG and Advanced HDR by Technicolor provide broad HDR support, while Filmmaker Mode and IMAX Enhanced offer additional viewing options for cinema content.
The TV runs on Google TV, combining streaming apps, live television and personalized recommendations in one interface. Hisense also specifies WiFi 6E router compatibility, giving the TV modern wireless connectivity for high quality streaming and smart home use.
For audio, the 85U8N uses a 2.1.2 channel five speaker system with up to 50W output and Dolby Atmos, providing a wider and more immersive sound experience without requiring an external speaker system for normal viewing.
The TV also includes 144Hz Game Mode Pro with VRR from 48Hz to 144Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Auto Low Latency Mode for users who connect compatible consoles or PCs, while remaining primarily a premium large screen entertainment TV.
