The Amprobe AMB-55 Industrial High-Voltage Insulation Tester is designed for testing insulation in wires, cables, transformers, motors, surge arrestors, and generators. It offers selectable testing voltages from 250 V to 5,500 V, with real-time resistance plotting and advanced diagnostic tools like Polarization Index (PI), Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR), and Dielectric Discharge (DD). It also features automatic discharge of the test object after measurement and includes a PC interface for data logging and analysis.
