It is ideal for installations where the peak current significantly exceeds 100 times the nominal RMS current. These contactors come complete with damping resistors and are intended for use without additional inductances. The capacitors must be discharged to a maximum residual voltage of 50 V before re-energization. The UA75-30-00RA offers remarkable electrical durability, withstanding 250,000 operating cycles at voltages below 500 V and 100,000 cycles at voltages between 500 V and 690 V. It features a special front-mounted block for damping resistors that limit current peaks during capacitor bank energization, ensuring precharging of capacitors to mitigate subsequent current peaks.
