Description

Efficient soft starter for small to medium three-phase motors, offering energy-saving and protection features.
The ABB PSE60-600-70 softstarter is designed for small to medium-sized three-phase motors, offering a rated maximum operational current of 60 A. It operates within a voltage range of 208 to 600 V AC and supports a control voltage between 100 and 250 V AC at 50/60 Hz. This device features a two-phase control allowing for soft start and stop through either voltage or torque ramp. It includes a built-in bypass to simplify installation and enhance energy efficiency. Additionally, the PSE60-600-70 is equipped with relay outputs for RUN, TOR, and Event signals. The softstarter offers various functions such as current limit, kickstart, analog output, end-of-life (EOL) indication, underload, and locked rotor protection. It is designed with an illuminated display that uses symbols for language neutrality, and an IP66 rated external keypad is available as an option. Communication can be established via hardwire inputs or the built-in Modbus RTU fieldbus communication, with support for external adaptors and fieldbus plugs. This product balances high starting capacity with cost efficiency, making it ideal for applications involving pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors.
