3M™ Venture Tape™ Double Coated Tape 1163MS74 is a high-performance, high-tack double coated polyester (PET) film tape mounted on a 74 lb. moisture-stable release liner. This industrial-grade bonding tape is specifically engineered for demanding applications where permanent bonding to difficult substrates is required. The tape features a heavy coat weight of acrylic adhesive applied on both sides of the PET film, providing exceptional bonding strength and durability across a wide variety of materials.
Designed for tough bonding applications, this tape excels at bonding to high surface energy plastics, composite materials, metals, cloth, and other challenging substrates. The 74 lb. release liner is moisture-stable, which helps preserve the adhesive from heat and humidity, allowing proper wet-out during application. The tape measures 1.5 inches (38.1 mm) wide and provides 250 yards (228.6 m) of continuous bonding material per roll, with 8 rolls packaged per case for industrial use.
