The natural-colored foam construction measures 2 inches wide by 36 yards long with a 125 mil (3.2 mm) thickness, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The tape's exceptional design allows air and gas vapors to pass through while maintaining a breathable seal that effectively traps moisture, dust, and contaminants. The firm, high-density open-cell foam structure provides excellent cushioning characteristics and superior sound dampening properties, making it particularly valuable in electronic applications such as printers, keyboards, computers, aircraft lights, and automotive dashboards. The silicone-treated paper liner protects the acrylic adhesive until application, ensuring clean and precise placement.
Featuring 3M™ Adhesive 350, this tape delivers high initial quick-stick to multiple substrates with excellent chemical resistance and shear holding strength. It performs reliably across a wide temperature range, with short-term performance up to 200°F (93°C) and long-term performance up to 350°F (176°C). Each case contains 6 rolls, providing 216 linear yards of premium sealing and damping solution. Note that the tape may develop a slight yellow appearance when exposed to light, which does not affect its physical performance or durability.
