This transparent, thin-caliper general purpose polyethylene tape creates an effective "slip plane" between incompatible surfaces, allowing contact without wear. The tape features translucent, abrasion-resistant backing that helps protect surfaces from wear while maintaining low coefficient of friction for smooth sliding applications.
The tape is formulated with solvent and oil-resistant acrylic adhesive that provides exceptional adhesion and chemical resistance in the most demanding applications. With a total thickness of 5.1 mil and a width of 2 inches, this tape is ideal for applications where lubrication is not possible due to contamination concerns. The unique combination of UHMW-PE properties delivers outstanding chemical resistance, superior abrasion resistance, and excellent impact strength, making it suitable for aerospace, automotive, printing, and MRO industries.
