Constructed with a durable glass cloth backing and thermosetable rubber adhesive, this tape excels in splicing textured surfaces, roofing felts, fiberglass, and textiles. The thermosetable rubber adhesive cross-links when exposed to heat, providing superior adhesion and bond strength at elevated temperatures ranging from 40°F to 450°F (-29°C to 232°C).
This high-performance tape features excellent initial tack and good solvent resistance, making it ideal for applications where traditional adhesives fail. The conformable glass cloth backing provides high tensile strength of 2224 oz/in while maintaining flexibility for irregular surfaces. The tape will not shrink or rot and offers superior abrasion and puncture resistance for extended performance in harsh industrial environments. Thermosetting is easily achieved through ironing or heating the backing after application, with optimal adhesion obtained by controlling time, temperature, and pressure.
Each case contains 24 rolls of 1.5-inch wide tape with 60-yard length per roll, totaling 1,440 yards.
