The 3M™ Safety-Walk™ Slip-Resistant General Purpose Tapes & Treads 630-B is a premium mineral-coated slip-resistant material designed for light to heavy shoe traffic areas. This high-performance tape features a highly durable surface that withstands the rigors of equipment traffic while maintaining excellent slip resistance. The low-profile design helps reduce trip hazards, making it ideal for safety-critical applications.
This product comes with 3M™ Controltac™ Film Technology, which includes posts that allow the traction material to be repositioned on the surface before final adhesion, saving time and virtually eliminating rework. Additionally, it features 3M™ Comply™ Adhesive Technology with air release channels in the liner, providing bubble-free application and ensuring smooth adhesion to the surface. The channel pattern is replicated onto the Safety-Walk™ adhesive, allowing air to be released to the edge of the traction material when pressure is applied.
Certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) for high traction with a wet static coefficient of friction (SCOF) greater than 0.60, this tape has been proven to reduce slip-and-fall claims by between 50% and 90%.
