The 3M™ Safety-Walk™ Slip-Resistant General Purpose Tapes & Treads 620 is a premium mineral-coated, high-friction slip-resistant surface designed for light to heavy shoe-traffic areas. This durable tape features a highly durable surface that withstands the rigors of equipment traffic while maintaining its protective properties. The tape is certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) as providing "high-traction" with a wet static coefficient of friction (SCOF) of greater than 0.60, proven to reduce slip-and-fall claims by between 50% and 90%.
This 24-inch by 60-foot roll comes with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing made of polyester for easy application. The tape features 3M™ Controltac™ Film Technology with posts that allow the traction material to be repositioned on the surface before final adhesion, saving time and virtually eliminating rework. Additionally, the 3M™ Comply™ Adhesive Technology provides air release channels in the liner, ensuring bubble-free application and smooth adhesion to surfaces.
The low-profile design helps reduce trip hazards while the mineral-coated surface delivers exceptional slip resistance on both dry and wet surfaces. Applications include flat surfaces, steps, stairways, entrances, ramps, ladders, lawn equipment, snowmobiles, scooters, construction machinery, and vehicles.
