This high-performance tape features a highly durable surface that withstands the rigors of equipment traffic, making it ideal for a wide range of applications including flat surfaces, steps, stairways, entrances, ramps, ladders, lawn equipment, snowmobiles, scooters, construction machinery, and vehicles. The product comes in a convenient 6-inch width by 60-foot length roll format with one roll per case.
This advanced slip-resistant tape incorporates proprietary 3M™ Controltac™ Film Technology and 3M™ Comply™ Adhesive Technology in the liner, providing superior application capabilities. The Controltac™ Film Technology features posts that allow the traction material to be repositioned on the surface before final adhesion, saving valuable time and virtually eliminating costly rework. The Comply™ Adhesive Technology provides air release channels in the liner, ensuring bubble-free application and smooth adhesion to surfaces. The channel pattern is replicated onto the Safety-Walk™ adhesive, allowing air to be released to the edge of the traction material when pressure is applied.
Certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) as providing "high-traction," this tape maintains a wet static coefficient of friction (SCOF) greater than 0.60, which has proven to reduce slip-and-fall claims by between 50% and 90%.
