The 3M™ Safety-Walk™ Slip-Resistant General Purpose Tapes & Treads 610 is a premium mineral-coated slip-resistant material designed for light to heavy shoe-traffic areas. This high-friction surface provides superior traction and safety in environments prone to slip-and-fall accidents. The product features a highly durable surface that withstands the rigors of equipment traffic, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications including flat surfaces, steps, stairways, entrances, ramps, ladders, lawn equipment, snowmobiles, scooters, construction machinery, and vehicles.
This slip-resistant tape is certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) as providing "high-traction" with a wet static coefficient of friction (SCOF) of greater than 0.60. According to NFSI standards, floor surfaces maintaining this level of slip resistance when wet have proven to reduce slip-and-fall claims by between 50% and 90%. The low-profile design helps reduce trip hazards while maintaining maximum safety performance.
The product incorporates proprietary 3M™ Controltac™ Film Technology and 3M™ Comply™ Adhesive Technology in the liner. The Controltac™ Film Technology features posts that allow the traction material to be repositioned on the surface before final adhesion, saving time and virtually eliminating rework. The Comply™ Adhesive Technology provides air release channels in the liner for bubble-free application and smooth adhesion to surfaces. This case includes 4 rolls of 3/4 inch wide by 60-foot long tape, providing comprehensive coverage for various safety applications.
