The 3M™ Safety-Walk™ Slip-Resistant General Purpose Tapes & Treads 610 is a premium mineral-coated slip-resistant tape designed for light to heavy shoe-traffic areas. This high-performance safety tape features a highly durable mineral-coated surface that provides exceptional friction and slip resistance. The tape is engineered to withstand the rigors of equipment traffic while maintaining its protective properties, making it ideal for a wide range of applications including flat surfaces, steps, stairways, entrances, ramps, ladders, lawn equipment, snowmobiles, scooters, construction machinery, and vehicles.
This product has been certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) as providing "high-traction" performance. The tape achieves a wet static coefficient of friction (SCOF) of greater than 0.60, which is the NFSI standard for high traction surfaces. According to NFSI research, floor surfaces maintaining this level of slip resistance when wet have proven to reduce slip-and-fall claims by between 50% and 90%. The low-profile design helps reduce trip hazards while maintaining maximum safety performance.
