The 3M™ Safety-Walk™ Slip-Resistant General Purpose Tapes & Treads 610 is a premium mineral-coated, high-friction slip-resistant surface designed for light to heavy shoe-traffic areas. This durable tape features a polyester backing with pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) that provides excellent adhesion to various surfaces. The low-profile design helps reduce trip hazards while maintaining superior slip resistance. With a wet static coefficient of friction (SCOF) of greater than 0.60, this product has been certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) as providing high-traction performance.
This safety tape is engineered to withstand the rigors of equipment traffic and is suitable for a wide range of applications including flat surfaces, steps, stairways, entrances, ramps, ladders, lawn equipment, snowmobiles, scooters, construction machinery, and vehicles. The 3M™ Comply™ Adhesive Technology features air release channels in the liner, providing bubble-free application and ensuring smooth adhesion to the surface. The channel pattern is replicated onto the Safety-Walk™ adhesive, allowing air to be released to the edge of the traction material when pressure is applied.
This product comes in a convenient 24-inch width by 60-foot length roll format, making it easy to apply to various surfaces. The mineral-coated surface is highly durable and maintains its slip-resistant properties even in wet conditions, helping reduce slip-and-fall claims by between 50% and 90% according to NFSI standards. It meets ANSI/NFSI B101.1, ANSI/NFSI B101.3, and U.S. MIL-PRF-24667C specifications.
