The specially formulated rubber adhesive provides dependable resistance to UV, temperature, moisture, chemicals, and both waterborne and solvent-based paints. With a maximum operating temperature of 250°F (121°C) for up to 30 minutes, this tape is suitable for longer baking cycles in automotive paint applications. The premium paper backing resists breaking, lifting, and edge curl, ensuring easy application and professional results. The special backside release coating minimizes unwind force, reducing wrinkling and paint blow-by when used with paper masking systems.
Each roll contains 55 meters (60 yards) of usable tape with a width of 72mm (2.83 inches) and thickness of 0.17mm (6.7 mil). The tape removes cleanly without slivering, preventing adhesive transfer and bleed-throughs. With a shelf life of 24 months and removal time of 1 day, this tape is packaged in cases of 8 rolls to maximize shop profitability.
