The malleable construction allows the tape to be shaped into complex or detailed patterns and die-cut into specific shapes to meet precise assembly and manufacturing process needs. The lead foil backing can be burnished to fully cover the adhesive, allowing full contact of the lead foil to the metal base for superior electrical path continuation and reduced build-up at the adhesive interface. With rubber-based adhesive that bonds exceptionally well to a variety of surfaces including most metals, this tape performs reliably over a wide temperature range from -60°F to 225°F (-51°C to 107°C).
