3M™ High Performance Double Coated Tape 9086 is a premium industrial adhesive tape featuring a specially-formulated acrylic adhesive that delivers very high initial tack and excellent peel and shear performance on a wide range of surfaces and materials. This double-coated tissue carrier tape with 3.5 mil adhesive on each side bonds to smooth, rough, or textured surfaces including paint, stainless steel, glass, foams, and a variety of plastics. The 0.5 mil tissue carrier is conformable and hand-tearable for efficient processing and use, while the white 3.2 mil glassine paper liner provides easy, efficient release during tape application.
Designed for industrial and occupational use, this high-performance double coated tape features 3M™ Adhesive 375 family formulation, which has been tested for high peel and shear performance on substrates including stainless steel, polycarbonate, glass, HDPE, ABS, and high pressure laminate. The tape is thicker and stickier than traditional tapes, making it suitable for zero-speed and general splicing, POP displays, fabrics, blind manufacturing, and print finishing applications. With dimensional stability and minimal stretch or deformation, this tape can be applied by hand or with a dispenser.
Each case contains 18 rolls of tape, with each roll measuring 1 inch wide by 55 yards long and 7.5 mil total thickness.
