The tape is manufactured with 3M™ Adhesive 100, a high-temperature acrylic adhesive system that delivers high shear strength and permanent bonding capability. The open-cell foam structure facilitates component cooling while maintaining structural integrity, making it ideal for both interior and exterior protected applications.
The 4004 tape is engineered for applications requiring gap-filling and mounting solutions on various surfaces. It offers exceptional performance in electronic applications, sign mounting, and nameplate attachment where durability and reliability are critical. The High Temperature Acrylic Adhesive 100 provides excellent bond strength to metal and high surface energy plastics, with very good temperature and solvent resistance.
