Featuring a polyester film carrier with Low Surface Energy Acrylic Adhesive 300LSE on both sides, this tape delivers excellent adhesion to a wide variety of similar and dissimilar materials including metals, most plastics, glass, papers, and painted surfaces. The ultra-thin 2 mil profile combined with dimensional stability makes it ideal for die-cutting and converting applications across consumer electronics, automotive, medical device fabrication, and general industrial assembly.
Manufactured using a solventless process, this versatile tape offers exceptional performance across a wide temperature range from -40°F/-40°C to 300°F/148°C, with bond strength that increases as a function of time and temperature. The tape provides very high initial adhesion, excellent holding power, and anti-lifting properties, along with outstanding resistance to industrial chemicals, consumer chemicals, moisture, and humidity. Supplied on a tan 58 lb. polycoated kraft paper liner, the 93005LE meets UL746C standards and is part of the 3M™ High Strength Acrylic Adhesive 300LSE family.
