The 3M™ Double Coated Tape 469 is a premium high-temperature double coated tissue tape designed for demanding industrial applications. This 5.5 mil red-tinted tape features a medium-firm, high-tack acrylic adhesive system with exceptional quick-stick properties, making it ideal for high-speed flying splices on most paper grades and printing applications. The tape is engineered with excellent initial adhesion and can bond to a variety of similar and dissimilar substrates, including low surface energy plastics and various paper grades and thicknesses.
With outstanding heat resistance capabilities, this tape performs reliably at temperatures up to 350°F/180°C for short-term intervals and maintains performance at 200°F/84°C for long-term applications. The tissue carrier is mounted on a 72 lb. densified kraft paper liner for ease of deployment and handling. The light red tint provides quick identification and easy discarding of splices during production. Additionally, the tape offers excellent UV resistance and high solvent resistance, making it suitable for demanding print applications in various environmental conditions.
Each case contains 24 rolls of 60-yard lengths with 1.5-inch width, providing ample supply for high-volume production environments. The hand-tearable tissue carrier ensures easy handling without requiring specialized tools.
