This 15 mil double-coated foam tape features advanced air release technology with a specially designed plate-side adhesive that enables easy removal from flexographic print plates with minimal force, even in the presence of ink contaminants. The medium density foam is ideal for printing combinations of solids and process colors with halftone dots, providing superior print quality and consistency.
The tape delivers bubble-free mounting through its innovative air release liner with a unique crosshatched pattern that imprints microchannels into the easy-mount adhesive. These microchannels allow trapped air to escape between the tape and plate, and between the tape and sleeve or cylinder, resulting in virtually bubble-free mounting. The engineered acrylic adhesive on the non-linered side bonds securely to flexographic printing cylinders or sleeves while removing cleanly without adhesive residue during demounting.
