The thermally conductive aluminum backing effectively dissipates heat over the tape surface to reduce hot spots and protect substrates from high temperature effects, while maintaining a strong and reliable bond even under exposure to high heat and humidity.
The tape withstands exposure to flame, weathering, moisture, UV radiation, and various solvents, providing excellent work life both indoors and outdoors. Its dead soft aluminum foil backing conforms easily to curved and uneven surfaces, making it suitable for complex applications. With a temperature use range from -65°F to 300°F (-54°C to 149°C), this tape is recognized by UL to UL 746C and classified by UL to UL 723 Class "L" for low flammability rating, meeting FAR 25.853(a) specifications. The product comes in a convenient 24 roll per case format, with each roll measuring 1.75 inches wide by 60 yards long.
