3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape Double Linered 8132LE is a premium double-linered adhesive transfer tape featuring 3M™ 300LSE acrylic adhesive technology. This versatile 2 mil (0.05 mm) tape delivers market-leading performance for bonding a wide variety of similar and dissimilar materials including metals, plastics, glass, papers, and painted surfaces. The tape offers excellent bond strength to low surface energy substrates such as powder coatings and polypropylene, with high adhesion to metals and high surface energy materials, making it ideal for bonding dissimilar substrates across multiple industries.
Designed for applications requiring premium performance and a thin profile, this tape provides instant adhesion to flat, untextured substrates with very high initial adhesion that increases over time and temperature. It features good resistance to industrial chemicals, consumer chemicals, moisture, and humidity, with reliable performance across a wide temperature range from -40°F/-40°C to 300°F/148°C. The tape is supplied with two liners: a primary 58 lb. polycoated kraft paper liner and a secondary 83 lb. polycoated kraft paper liner, making it ideal for die-cutting and converting applications.
Manufactured using a solventless manufacturing process, 3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape Double Linered 8132LE meets UL 969 standards and is part of the 3M™ High Strength Acrylic Adhesive 300LSE family. This product is suitable for consumer electronic device assemblies, industrial electronic device assemblies, plastic assembly bonding, automotive applications, appliance component assembly, medical equipment fabrication, and general industrial applications.
