3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape Double Linered 8132LE is a premium double-linered adhesive transfer tape featuring 3M's high-strength acrylic adhesive 300LSE. This versatile 2 mil (0.05 mm) tape is engineered to provide excellent bonding performance across a wide variety of similar and dissimilar materials including metals, most plastics, glass, papers, and painted surfaces. The tape is supplied in clear format with dimensions of 24 inches by 36 inches, packaged with 100 sheets per case, making it ideal for high-volume industrial and manufacturing applications.
Designed for demanding applications across multiple industries, this double-linered transfer tape offers exceptional adhesion properties combined with excellent chemical, humidity, and moisture resistance. The primary liner is a printed 58 lb. polycoated kraft paper in tan color with 4 mil thickness, while the secondary liner is an 83 lb. polycoated kraft paper also in tan with 6.2 mil thickness. This dual-liner configuration is particularly suited for die-cutting and converting operations, as well as easy after-market installation processes. The tape performs reliably across a wide temperature range from -40°F (-40°C) to 300°F (148°C), with bond strength that increases as a function of time and temperature, while maintaining very high initial adhesion.
Manufactured using a solventless manufacturing process, this product meets UL 969 standards and is part of the 3M™ High Strength Acrylic Adhesive 300LSE family. It is specifically recommended for consumer electronic device assemblies such as phones, tablets and wearable devices, industrial electronic device assemblies, plastic assembly bonding, automotive assemblies, appliance component application, medical equipment fabrication, and general industrial applications.
