3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 9671LE is a versatile, market-proven 2 mil (0.05 mm) transfer tape on a printed release paper liner featuring 3M™ 300LSE acrylic adhesive. This industrial-grade bonding tape has a long and proven history of reliably bonding a wide variety of similar and dissimilar materials including metals, most plastics, glass, papers, and painted surfaces. The tape offers excellent bond strength to low surface energy substrates including powder coatings and plastics such as polypropylene (PP), while providing high adhesion to metals and high surface energy materials, making it ideal for bonding dissimilar substrates.
This transfer tape is manufactured using a solventless manufacturing process and is supplied on a printed 83 lb. polycoated kraft paper liner that is ideal for die-cutting and converting applications. The thicker liner assists with easy liner removal and provides excellent handling characteristics during application. The 3M™ High Strength Acrylic Adhesive 300LSE family provides very high initial adhesion with bond strength that increases as a function of time and temperature. The tape performs across a wide temperature range from -40°F/-40°C to 300°F/148°C and demonstrates good chemical, humidity, and moisture resistance.
The 9671LE is ideal for consumer electronic device assemblies such as phones, tablets and wearable devices, industrial electronic device assemblies, plastic assembly bonding across various industries, automotive assemblies, appliance component application and assembly, medical equipment and device fabrication, and general industrial applications such as trim attachment.
