This premium bonding solution delivers excellent adhesion to a wide variety of similar and dissimilar materials including metals, plastics, glass, papers, and painted surfaces. The tape is supplied on a printed 83 lb polycoated kraft paper liner that is ideal for die-cutting and converting applications, with a thicker liner design that ensures easy removal. Manufactured using a solventless process, this transfer tape offers superior chemical, humidity, and moisture resistance while maintaining consistent performance across a broad temperature range from -40°F to 300°F (-40°C to 148°C).
The 3M™ 300LSE acrylic adhesive family is specifically engineered to provide excellent bonding to low surface energy substrates including powder coatings and plastics such as polypropylene (PP), while delivering high adhesion to metals and high surface energy materials. This makes it an ideal solution for bonding dissimilar substrates in demanding applications. The adhesive provides excellent holding power and anti-lifting properties, with bond strength that increases as a function of time and temperature, combined with very high initial adhesion.
With dimensions of 24 inches wide by 180 yards long and a total tape thickness of 2.3 mil without liner, this product is supplied as 1 roll per case. It meets Ford WSS-M11P62 automotive OEM specifications and UL 969 standards (reference file PGGU2.MH26206).
