The tape offers excellent bond strength to low surface energy substrates including powder coatings and plastics such as polypropylene (PP), while providing high adhesion to metals and high surface energy materials, making it ideal for bonding dissimilar substrates.
Designed for applications requiring premium performance and a thicker profile than standard 2 mil tapes, the 9472FL delivers versatile, market-leading performance across a broad spectrum of industries. The adhesive provides excellent holding power and anti-lifting properties with good resistance to industrial chemicals, consumer chemicals, moisture, and humidity. This tape performs across a wide temperature range from -40°F/-40°C to 300°F/148°C, with bond strength increasing as a function of time and temperature while maintaining very high initial adhesion.
