This premium adhesive transfer tape is designed for applications requiring excellent bond strength to low surface energy substrates including powder coatings and plastics such as polypropylene (PP), as well as high adhesion to metals and high surface energy materials, making it suitable for bonding dissimilar substrates. This versatile tape is supplied on a 58 lb. polycoated kraft paper liner (tan colored, 4.2 mil thick) ideal for die-cutting and converting applications. Manufactured using a solventless manufacturing process, the 9471LE is part of the 3M™ High Strength Acrylic Adhesive 300LSE family and meets UL 969 (reference file PGGU2.MH26206) and Ford WSS-M11P62 automotive OEM specifications. The bond strength increases as a function of time and temperature, with very high initial adhesion making it an ideal solution for general purpose attachment and assemblies of a wide variety of materials.
