This premium adhesive transfer tape is engineered for industrial applications requiring excellent bond strength to low surface energy substrates including powder coatings and plastics such as polypropylene (PP), as well as high adhesion to metals and high surface energy materials, making it ideal for bonding dissimilar substrates. The tape provides excellent holding power and anti-lifting properties with good resistance to industrial chemicals, consumer chemicals, moisture and humidity.
Designed for applications requiring premium performance and a very thin profile, this market-leading solution for bonding plastics performs across a broad spectrum of industries. It offers performance across a wide temperature range from -40°F/-40°C to 300°F/148°C, with bond strength that increases as a function of time and temperature, and features very high initial adhesion. The tape is supplied on a 58 lb. polycoated kraft paper liner that is ideal for die-cutting and converting applications. Manufactured using a solventless manufacturing process, this product is part of the 3M™ High Strength Acrylic Adhesive 300LSE family and meets UL 969 standards.
